High overload capability: The industrial grade intelligent power modules (IPM) used in EDB servo drives have one grade higher capability as high as high as the general servo products of the same category and calibrated of the same power, so they have higher overload capability, higher capability of disturbance rejection and larger startup torques. You can be assured all the EDB servo drives are generally 3 times overload capability when running below 1.5KW and two and a half times overload capability when running above 2KW.
Faster response: With its AUTO Disturbance Rejection Controller function and speed observation control function, the EDB servo drives has better dynamic features and stability than those with traditional PL control technology.
Communication to PC: With special PC software available, the following functions can be achieved:
Parameter management: Operations to all parameters such as editing, transmission, comparison and initialization can be done conveniently and efficiently.
Real time monitoring of all I/O signals, current alarm and history records, system status, and so on.
Real time sampling: Real time sampling curves of speed and torques, so that adjusting and analyzing can be made easily.
Gain/increment of the servo drives can be adjusted very fast, and simple testing are possible when there is no positive or speed indication.
Single axis positioning function: Single axis positions of 32 nodes is installed inside EDB servo drives. User may connect the drive to a touch screen via the RS-232 port on the servo drive, therefore the PLC unit is saved.
